Job Description

Manage and continually improve the quality system, which will validate product value and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead the plant quality department to resolve daily challenges as they pertain to quality inspection audits and time effective deliveries for our customers. Share customer feedback on the quality of our products and service with key manufacturing and service leaders and participate in finding rapid and effective solutions.

  • Manage warranty systems and other customer related data and complaints

  • Manage the Plant Quality Management System.

  • Coordinate corrective actions along with new product launches with the Design, Sustaining, COD, Corporate Quality, and Corporate Supply Chain teams.

  • Manage the Quality Engineering group to ensure products are manufactured/assembledbuiltaccording to quality standards and regulatory standards.

  • Manage audits and inspections. Responsible for training and development of team members. Assist with field service calls for urgent response to our customers.

  • Lead the quality assurance group including inspection and voice of the customer personnel

  • Capable of fostering positive work relationships and developing teamwork within the departments and entire organization.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required

  • 7+ years of experience in quality role

  • 5+ years in a management role

  • Knowledge in the application of ISO standard

  • Qualified candidates must effectively communicate with all levels of Hussmann management and external associates, in both written and verbal forms.

  • Mobility within work facilities including manufacturing sites is also required.

  • MS Office skills required.

  • Toyota Production System, Monozukuri, and/or Operational Excellence experience preferred.
