ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for Graphic Designer/Production Artist to work closely with our marketing and sales teams to deliver outstanding print, web, mobile, and packaging designs. We are a team with a passion for delivering solutions that go above and beyond the expectations of our users. The ideal candidate is meticulous and goal-oriented with a strong eye for executing the smallest details with perfection. This individual is skilled at content design, and able to translate creative concepts into effective print materials and high-quality web designs. Whether it’s print production or digital design, the graphic designer/production artist will create a finished product that meets organizational branding goals.

Essential Functions – Responsibilities

  • Execute effective designs for print/PDF sales materials, including photo selection and content design

  • Partner with the Web Design Manager to design and create high-functioning marketing websites with a proven record of conversions

  • Work with Marketing Communications team to enhance and promote brand guidelines for all print and digital collateral

  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Product, and Fulfillment teams to refine and produce product packaging concepts that are innovative, eco-friendly, and cost effective

  • Provide graphic and design support for marketing efforts such as web sites, landing pages, email marketing, and print collateral materials

  • Execute and maintain a design library of on-brand assets accessible by sales, engineering, and support teams

  • Work closely with the Marketing Communications Coordinator to bring vibrant design concepts to content

  • Conceptualize and design effective templates for email marketing campaigns

  • Create high-quality graphics and assets for social media, e-commerce, and digital efforts

  • Assist with the production of UI/UX assets for mobile and product development projects

  • Stay abreast of and have a passion for customer experience and interaction design trends

  • Generate user-centered design principles and represent the consumer in the creative process

  • Contribute to research, creation, and prioritization of project requirements

  • Ensure continuity in look-and-feel of visual communication elements

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, visual communications, user experience design, information architecture, software or product design for software, web applications, or mobile applications in an agency or interactive product development environment

  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, principles, typography, and photography

  • Experience designing and working with responsive design concepts for web, mobile, and/or email

  • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability, drawing skills and sketchbook technique

  • Exceptional design skills, production value, and attention to detail

  • Ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps

  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other associated design tools

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to inform strong web design concepts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong sense of web design and an understanding of the fundamentals of user experience and cross-platform compatibility

  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, careful attention to detail, as well as ability to grasp multiple product requirements

  • Portfolio of relevant work for review is required

Work Environment

The hours of this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM
