Founded in 1818, the company is headquartered in White Plains, New York.Position Summary:Company has a challenging opportunity for an Operations Engineer to assist with the Crowley Carbon Energy Project for BNA and lead on project execution for the next two years. This includes support for processing facilities improving efficiencies, operational troubleshooting, and capital project design per the Crowley Carbon Energy Program. This position will follow engineering principles and the Company Core Values in providing operations support to meet business needs required to keep our facilities competitive. Travel for this position expected to be up to 25%, or as needed. The position reports to the Process Engineering Crush Manager.Essential Functions:* Work with location managers to plan and deploy projects from the Crowley Carbon Energy Project.to comply with Company PQSE.* Collaborate with facility management to define technical needs and CapEx requirements as it relates to the Crowley Carbon Energy Project.* Identify productivity improvement opportunities at BNA crush locations.* Identify, promote, and coordinate implementation of best practices across all facilities and assist facilities with problem-solving and troubleshooting operational problems* Assist facilities with assessments of vendors, contractors, and consulting engineers.* Assist facilities with OEM equipment evaluations.* Coordinate with local plant management on safe operations, as needed* Coordinate with local plant management on environmental regulatory compliance issues as needed* Interface effectively with other departments such as commercial, safety, accounting, legal, environmental, engineering, QA/QC, and procurement to assist with optimal execution of business needs* Assist as necessary with process reviews and process developments* Assist with review of production data routinely to ensure accuracy and to analyze for improvements throughout the crush facilities.* Understand and review production data on a regular basis* Travel, sometime with extended stays, to crush facilities throughout the US and Canada as required.Skill/Experience Requirements:* Bachelors degree in Engineering or applicable related field required.* Minimum 5 years of extensive oilseed processing operations experience required* Extensive soybean/canola processing operational experiences in a broad range of climate conditions required.* Working knowledge of NFPA 36 required.* Oilseed industry knowledge of safety policies regarding solvent extraction facilities required.* OSHA PSM program experience desired.Travel Requirements, if any please indicate percentage:Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
