Our Quality Engineer will be responsible to:

Assist in efforts toward the achievement and adherence to quality management systems such as IATF16949. Develop policies and procedures to support these systems. Assist plant preparation for external customer and third party quality audits. Organize and communicate corrective action plans resulting from audits. Coordinate work direction, leadership, and developmental opportunities for quality functions such as quality engineering, product testing, receiving inspection, gauge control, in-process inspection, etc. Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality. Communicate and follow-up on customer complaints to plant personnel. Respond to customer with documented cause and correction action taken. Leads the Material Review Board (MRB) efforts to determine the disposition of non-conforming materials. Establish inspection and quality expectations for internal customers (i.e. production departments, purchasing, etc.). Audit production processes for achievement of quality expectations. Facilitate corrective action and process improvements based upon the audit results. Promote and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability. Responsible for calibration, PPAPs submissions and customer interaction. Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a relevant field or proven work expertise that aligns with this role. 2 -5 years of previous manufacturing/quality experience Proven investigative skills and audit experience Excellent communication skills and diligent follow-up Ability to navigate customer complaints and partner with shop floor to resolve Preferred knowledge of manufacturing processes such as welding and surface finishing; ability to read and interpret blueprints; skilled in quality inspection techniques including industrial welding standards.
