Help us deliver solutions that ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone and at every moment.https://youtu.be/4EtpkB0cuXEGreat people make Schneider Electric a great company.What do you get to do in this position?Perform a variety of engineering work which may be related to process design/layout, mechanical, manufacturing, tooling, and safety.Work on daily and long term problems/projects using manufacturing, quality, and SPS tools to resolve issues (ie PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, CAPEX, SAP, Work Orders, Layout, etc)Exercise judgement within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion (based upon SPS principles) for obtaining results.Work with other engineers, designers, maintenance, supervisors and hourly line associates to effectively solve issues, implement solutions, and support IDEA/Continuous/Safety improvement implementation ALL UNDER the Schneider Production System principles.Support launch projects, determine cost estimates, design concepts and engineering criteria along with conceptual process layouts for given project.Support process tooling, fixture, and equipment design, purchase, and maintenance.Develop process, safety, ergonomic, and material handling improvement solutions.Serve manufacturing operations as KEY SUPPORT person leading resolutions to problems, implementing improvement, and leading projects to completion.We know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position.This job might be for you if:Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical)Experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalentExperience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), Ishikawa diagram, etc.)Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desiredDemonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project managementExcellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detailSignificant knowledge and experience within business software related to Manufacturing and Capacity Planning such as SAP, ACCESS,/SQL databases, and Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.Experience in AutoCad, PLC programming and vision systems preferredEcoStruxure platform experience preferredExperience implementing projects resulting in measureable improvements within labor efficiency, material flow, and overall equipment effectivenessExperience in process design, ergonomics, simulation tools, and cost analysisStrong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellent follow-up and execution skillsSchneider Electric offers a robust benefits package to support our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, 401(k) match, and more.
