National Dentex 2nd Shift Dental-Lab Technician Trainee in Fenton, Missouri

Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Keller in Fenton, MO for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Dental-Lab Technician Trainee. Previous experience is not necessary; we offer paid, hands-on training!

The regular hours for this position are from 3:30pm to 12:30am, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist on each case

  • Nest/Mill dental frameworks/restorations that provide the patient with the proper function and aesthetics

  • Ensure consistent, accurate results are obtained by following all steps

  • Verify the Design is correct and materials have been entered in correctly

  • Adjust settings accordingly to product types

  • Nest all products that are to be milled or 3D printed

  • Keep cases organized so that everyone on the milling projects can work as a team

  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

  • Utilize “lost wax technique” for pressing of ceramics and casting of alloys

Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

  • Must have computer skills

  • Display good hand-eye coordination skills

  • Display ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

  • Attention to detail and excellent perception skills

  • Time management skills required for production environment

  • Display multi-tasking skills

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Entry level; no experience required

  • CNC Machinery

  • Dremmel/Handpiece

  • Computer

  • Wax Pot/Electric waxer

  • Pressing Oven

  • Devest Machine

  • Pache Machine

  • Coloring liquid

  • Invex liquid

  • Burn out oven

  • Sintering oven

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach

  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time

  • Repeated bending and kneeling

  • Vision capabilities: Depth perception, attention to detail and/or color

  • Push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
