*Aerotek is looking for an Engineering Technician! Aerotek is looking for an Engineering Technician for a leading medical device company here in St. Louis. Qualified candidates will have experience as a technician within a regulated environment.*
This position is involves a combination of prototype testing and part measurement. It is well suited for someone interested in contributing toward new product development in the field of medical devices. The ideal candidate would have previous experience performing tests on and measuring small plastic parts. Experience with optical measuring systems, such as OGP or RAM are highly desired. Experience writing test methods and performing tests on prototype or production assemblies will also be great.

2 year technical degree in the emphasis of Engineering preferred
Good oral and written communication skills
Relevant training to read part drawings and understand specifications. GD&T experience preferred.
Experience measuring small parts
Experience performing physical property testing, using equipment such as an Instron or Sintech is desired.
Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail
