EaglePicher Technologies Quality Engineer in Joplin, Missouri

The primary purpose of this position is to support the functions necessary to ensure EaglePicher's compliance to our customer's contracts

Your core responsibilities will be to:

  • primary point of contact for customer's programs

  • bid/proposal evalaution & response

  • contract review

  • product development (APQP)

  • facilitator of product failure review boards

  • Ensure contract compliance for ECRs

  • First Article Inspection Report per AS-9102

To succeed in this position, you must:

· Bachelor’s Degree in the following: Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, MatheMATICS, or related field

· Excellent record of attendance and reliability

· Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles

· Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications

· Detailed orientated and ability to multitask

· Effective communicator, both verbally and written

· Strong team player, ability to effectively interact with other functional groups

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

In addition to meeting the basic requirements, the most successful candidate will also have:

  • Be able to work with rapidly changing schedules;

  • Have great attention to detail;

  • Able to multitask and stay organized.
