Production employees are hired as members of a manufacturing team. They are responsible for the safe operation and production distribution in the facility. The Company Mills-Kansas City plant operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Changes in volume and production requirements can result in changes in work schedule and additional overtime. Qualified candidates must be willing to work any shift including nights and weekends. The starting wage for the Forklift Operator position is $20.71 hr. Main Responsibilities In this role, you will: * Follows all safety guidelines in the department including proper use of PPE and safe forklift handling procedures * Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the warehouse department including the ability to scan, load, inspect and clean trucks and/or rail cars * Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the warehouse management system * Assist DDC in accounting for any hold product and/or returned product for rework * Assist DDC to maintain and rework product in re-work area * Effectively communicate with Team Leaders and other drivers regarding issues with equipment, special instructions, carry-overs etc * Effectively and efficiently pull finished product from the line eliminating downtime * Effectively operate, maintain and inspect forklift * Performs all necessary quality checks of the products produced including MQIS checks such as pallet ID verification and trailer inspection. Maintains all written documentation for these checks. * Maintains equipment and process records as required. * Conduct sanitation tasks according to master sanitation schedule MSS and as part of daily operations. * Feed in or blend any off grade product within the specifications determined by QRO. * Interface with the QRO, Packaging and Bisquick department for inventory, shipping, hold orders, receiving and other functions as directed. * Collaborate and interface with the transportation and flour planner on development of production schedule to ensure the maximum utilization of resources * Maintains the warehouse area in an organized and sanitary manner within FDA GMP guidelines; performs routine cleaning activities of all processing areas. * Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment * Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentEOE/Minorities/Females/Vets/DisabilitiesEmployer's Job# 10161Please visit job URL for more information about this opening and to view EOE statement.
