The Maintenance Technician position shall perform specific maintenance tasks as assigned by Lead Personnel. These tasks shall include, but are not limited to, Preventive Maintenance work orders, safety check, ladder guard, and other duties as assigned. These functions will be performed in accordance with all applicable codes, guidelines, and governing commissions. State duties required to handle hazardous waste. Attend Hospital Orientation - Brief overview of Hazardous Waste Within six months Complete annual CHEX Hazardous Waste Training with test. Employee must not work unsupervised until they have completed the training requirements. Be familiar with hospital policies for hazardous waste and reporting hazardous waste emergencies. Department Management verifies that training has been completed. (IF CHEX training is completed this is the verification)

Assists with the performance of monthly assigned preventive maintenance work orders
Perform safety check on assigned equipment. Inspects fire extinguishers, replaces filters, checks electrical outlets.
Works assisting other assigned personnel watching ladders and retrieving material.
Assisting with the performance of any in-shop repair work and other duties as assigned.
HS diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience General maintenance experience preferred.
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $15.92, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
