About This Opportunity
The QA Analyst role is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and tracking of software testing and issue reports. As the QA Analyst you will be expected to maintain a test case database, including the creation of test cases for new product features and maintenance of a regression test suite.
The QA Analyst is an active member of the product and test team and executes test cases, creates defect reports, and reviews internal feedback. Candidates should have experience with root cause analysis, issue prioritization, managing bug reports, and basic release management in an Agile software development environment.
This position will test personalized Gift Card Platform solutions for customers and will be highly involved in customer launches. This position will interact primarily with internal teams as well as be client facing. Automation experience is a plus but not required. In this role you will:
Become a product expert and champion of functional and UX quality
Create, implement, and maintain test plans, test cases and suites, and quality practices for all web and mobile products
Execute manual test cases and document all testing results within bug tracking system
Communicate test progress and defect reports to management and assist in prioritization and assignment of tasks to development team
Collaborate with developers to identify and define product bugs, verify issue resolution, and prevent recurrence
Review internal feedback, including the testing and documenting of functional or usability issues
Delegate test cases to QA testers and monitor coverage
2-4 years in a QA role on an Agile Software Development team
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong verbal and written communication
Knowledge of test case management and defect tracking systems
Project management experience and desire to lead
Experience working on cross-functional teams of varied technical skill levels
Automated testing experience a plus but not required
