As our Engineering Technician, you will be at the forefront of new product and equipment development. You will support prototype development and commercialization runs of new

processes and tooling while utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods to minimize waste and maximize efficiencies. You will work with engineers to coordinate, assist in setting up, carrying

out, and documenting sample orders. You will support continuous improvement programs. This position will be involved with the functional checkout, startup, and validation of new equipment, plus creation of standard work and training. You will provide important feedback for tooling and equipment design reviews. You will support the daily process engineering needs for the production of thermoformed products.

Qualifications

• 2-year Technical Degree

• 3 years directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree

• 2 years additional relevant industrial experience preferred

• Experience troubleshooting industrial processes. Knowledge in both electrical and mechanical systems.

• Detailed and methodical approach to problem solving.

• Ability to work with associates of all levels including directors, managers, engineers, machine operators, quality technicians, line supervisors, and maintenance technicians.

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.

• Knowledge of plastics processing preferred.

• Knowledge of injection Molding processing preferred.

• Knowledge of Thermoforming processing preferred.

• Knowledge of Radio Frequency and other plastics welding technologies preferred.

*Core Hours Mon-Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM
