As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will regularly perform mechanical maintenance of field and plant equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
SupportPlant and Field Operations
Delivermaintenance support for projects
Provideoversight of the plant shop, and maintenance tools
Supportthe DuPont Production System, Process Safety Management and the locationsafety effort
Conductseasonal prep work including preparing equipment and scheduling materials
Assureproper set-up, calibration, operation, and preventative maintenance ofequipment, machines, and facilities
Completeground maintenance as needed
Maintain detailed equipment records and prints
The following are required:
Oneto three (1-3) years of related maintenance work
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Willingand able to work in a variety of areas (field, plant, warehouse)
Willingand able to climb and/or work in elevated areas; standing and sitting forextended periods
Willingand able to work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet and dryconditions
Willingand able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involvesrepetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
Positionhas potential exposure to hazards such as electric shock or moving parts
Willingnessand ability to work overtime hours including weekend work required duringseasonal peaks
Validdriver’s license and reliable transportation
Problemsolving skills, conflict resolution skills, and teamwork skills
Excellentverbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Beginninglevel computer skills
The following are preferred:
Knowledgeof production agriculture and associated machinery
Basiclevel of building electrical systems knowledge
Knowledgeof heating/cooling, refrigeration, security, materials handling equipment(i.e., conveyors, elevator legs, packaging equipment, etc.) or othermechanical/electrical systems
Ableto adjust quickly to changing conditions and multiple priorities
Truckand forklift driving skills
Knowledgeof engine and hydraulic repair and test equipment
