Job Summary:Supports broad quality functionsacrossTrue Fitness business processes and products. Evaluates quality attributes of products, processes and supplier parts according to objective and subjective standards. Helps to evaluate and enforce existing quality requirements while looking for opportunities to enhance quality results through improved quality techniques or specifications. Participates in development and deployment of quality programs essential to company goals. Daily duties involve regular interface with quality department personnel in addition to a broad spectrum of personnel within True Fitness as directed. Will interface with suppliers and customers where requested.Quality Engr. Tech II: Responsibilities commensurate with a firm quality job knowledge and work experience. High level of independent work and experienced supervision of quality activities assigned.A minimum of 3 or more years of quality job experience and success typically required. Essential Responsibilities:Lead, assist and report quality technical evaluation of product, parts and process as directed Develop, execute and report warranty parts return evaluations as directed Expedite investigation of developing customer field concerns as directed Lead or assist root cause analysis and corrective action efforts as directedLead or assist quality 1st article reviews of products, parts and processes Lead or assist investigation, verification and where needed creation of quality specificationsQuality technical support of auditors, product returns and production functions as directed Support quality test fixturing needs for receiving inspection, warranty parts and product returns Interact with PD functions to include engineering, life testing and others where directedMay participate in FMEA and DOE methodsQualifications:3 year minimum applicable quality experience typically requiredStrongly organized and motivated work style with multitasking abilityVery good communication and work style for interfacing with a diversity of tasks and persons Electro-mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting experience desiredWillingness for possible short duration travel 1-2 daysWorking conditions(info on conditions out of the ordinary such as extensive travel, high noise level, frequent lifting, etc...):Factory, lab, office with some offsite supplier or customer work possible Less than 5% overnight travel anticipatedPart handling may involve some safe individual lifting of 40lbs. or lessHeavier product handling includes group or tool assist liftFor more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
