The maintenance technician position is responsible for startup, adjust and operate machines used in production lines to ensure proper and efficient operation and production with minimal disruption. Performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.Essential FunctionsAbility to perform Setup, Operations, troubleshooting, tooling and configuration of MX4 and PM activitiesProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine serviceAbility to program single loop controllers for proper operationGeneral knowledge of PLC programing and Utilizing that knowledge while troubleshooting equipmentPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasBenefits include retirement, vacation, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, attendance bonus, referral bonus program, 401K, and holidays.*Premier Glass USA is a drug free equal opportunity employer*Shift: Rotating swingDays of Week: M-Su, 50 hours/ weekMinimum age required: 18Lifting requirements: Up to 50lbs.Experience required: Yes, 1 year.
