Position Summary : To perform maintenance on all kitchen equipment while creating and maintaining a preventative maintenance program.
- Maintain and repair all kitchen equipment to include but not limited
to: gas stoves, ovens, slicers, steam tables, convection ovens,
grills, proofing box, smokers, hot/cold boxes and sink disposals
Daily cleaning of gas equipment.
Respond to emergency maintenance calls within the department.
Weekly inspection of pilot assemblies, switches, scanners and regulators.
Maintain proper kitchen equipment spare parts inventory level, as required.
Establish preventative maintenance program for all equipment.
Establish professional working relationship with outside vendors who provide contracted services for various types of equipment.
Acquire a working knowledge of the Lodge and facilities to respond appropriately to guest questions, as required.
Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters coming to her/his attention so prompt action can be taken when appropriate.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
