Aerotek Extrustion Process Engineer in Saint Louis, Missouri


The Extrusion Process Engineer is responsible for continuous improvement in safety, quality and cost in the manufacture of AstroTurf. This role has the authority to change standard operating procedures, establish quality specifications, direct capital expenditures, and change personnel training and qualifications.

From the manager: The main role of this position will be to drive improvements in our extrusion process. Our process needs to be faster, have less downtime, less scrap, etc. We are looking for someone to be creative and explore the possibility of using different materials like reused/recycled material.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Plastic Extrusion Bachelors in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is HIGHLY preferred. Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience being hands on with extrusion or blow molding processes in a plastic environment.
