Industrial Engineer 4
(U.S. Citizenship Required*)
St. Louis, MO
Lead application of Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing, engineering and service operations.
Lead development of models, data bases, and spreadsheets to analyze data (statistics, operations research, engineering economics), and provide expert analysis and metrics for consultation to customers (management, departments, suppliers).
Lead application of extensive industrial engineering techniques and concepts to product and process design teams throughout all phases of product lifecycle, resulting in a robust product design and work statement that meets program requirements.
Lead process research, design, development, improvement, and implementation to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, through expert application of Lean and advanced Industrial Engineering concepts for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.
Manage, define, negotiate, and control scope, cost, and timing of projects, and direct the use of project management tools (work break-down structure, precedence network, resource allocation).
Ensure project is completed within budget, and on schedule.
Lead use of engineering methods (e.g., mathematical models, simulation, statistics) to develop optimal process designs and efficient utilization of resources (e.g., facilities, personnel, materials, equipment) in creating and validating products.
Lead analysis and design of value stream, including capability, capacity (make/buy, supplier selection, risk analysis, supplier performance), throughput, work flow and logistics (e.g., critical path, lead-time, transportation, factory layout).

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
Degree from ABET accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
