Job Summary Performs a variety of engineering work in planning, design and modification of fixtures, tools, and manufacturing processes. Resolves production problems and completes documentation on assigned parts Job Responsibilities * Develops, evaluates, improves and documents manufacturing processes * Develops and implements process control techniques including work instructions using tools such as SPC, PFMEA * Analyses manufacturing process flows continually for the improvements of quality, cost reduction, lead-time reduction for new work * Collarborates with other functions to ensure effective production methods * Coordinates part inspection procedures with Quality Engineers. * Addresses and documents cause and corrective action issues to prevent future problem occurrences. * Determines required material and tools for production * Creates and registers changes to work instructions Requirements for Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program; required course work in lieu of ABET accreditation will be considered * 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment * 2 years of experience on Material Review Board * Must have a DOD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain. * Must be a US Person. Must comply with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
