Production Lead
If you are a Production Leader looking for a new opportunity, we have a 1st shift opening with an automotive parts manufacturer in the South side of St. Louis. This company is looking for someone who has experience as a working supervisor; someone who can jump on to the production line as the team needs it and can see themselves finding their forever home there.
Responsibilities
The Supervisor is intended to be the first line of support for the production staff and will be responsible to:
Distribute work assignments
Audit work centers for conformance to business systems – Safety check, 5s, Quality audits, Production system
Provide support and training for machine operators to reach Safety, Quality, and Efficiency goals. Actively participate in ANDON
Backfill operators when required
Ensure accurate collection of production data, and work with the production manager to analyze for improvement
Manage overall department/area metrics
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
standing for 9 hours at one time
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
