PDS Tech Inc Systems Engineer 3, 4, 5 in Saint Louis, Missouri
Job Description:
Lead and manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture.
Manage the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
Lead the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Lead the coordination and resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
Lead the coordination efforts between engineering functions to define requirements related to safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialty engineering groups.
Develop the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Required:
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
More than 8 years of engineering experience
Experience using all of the following Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Collaboration & written and verbal communication skills
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Desired Skills/Experience:
Experience using DOORS for requirements management
Experience with Cameo, Rhapsody or other modeling tools
Experience with MatLab
