Mississippi Lime Company Quality Systems Manager in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri
The Quality Systems Manager will lead Food Safety programs, Quality Management System programs, customer complaints, and work with Quality Assurance data. They will also work with customers and other third parties on scheduling and conducting audits and providing required documentation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field is required
Experience: 3 years of experience in Food Safety and Quality Management Systems is preferred
Knowledge: Must have knowledge of Food Safety Regulations and ISO 9001
Abilities: Strong collaborator and communicator that is comfortable working with all levels and across all departments within the organization. Also, comfortable representing Mississippi Lime with Customers, Regulators, and third party manufacturers.
Lead Food Safety Programs and document Food Safety Audits
Coordinate customer and third party audits and required documentation
Participate as an active resource in regulatory audits
Lead third party manufacturer audits, document findings, and work with those companies on resolutions
Lead Quality Management System programs, including ISO 9001
Lead, schedule, and document internal ISO Audits
Maintain current ISO documentation
As a Quality Department staff member, participate in Continuous Improvement activities for the various quality control and quality assurance laboratories
Conduct customer complaint investigations, including analysis of chemical results
Manage CAPA and management of change
Other projects as assigned by the Quality Manager
Travel up to 5%
