Humana Enterprise Transformation Lead (Work at Home eligible) in Springfield, Missouri


The Enterprise Transformation Lead plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma with a heavy focus on understanding and implementing the relevant industry engineering metrics necessary for the running and continuous improvement of an Engineering organization. The Enterprise Transformation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.


The Enterprise Transformation Lead will serve as the Product Owner for DevOps related metrics within the IT Engineering function. This role will have the unique opportunity to set and execute the strategy around metrics that truly matter for the organization including those for process measurement, indicators for future improvement opportunities, and root cause of challenges teams are facing to modernize their practices. The role also provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. Given the visibility of the role and criticality of the responsibilities, this role often advises key executives to help develop functional strategies on matters of significance. They also will serve as the subject matter expert around all things metrics related, so a firm grounding in industry best practices will be essential. The expectation to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and ability to work under minimal supervision, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action will be a critical factor of success.

Required Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of technical experience

  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience

  • Proficiency in business consulting and/or operational leadership experience

  • Strong business and financial acumen

  • Experience in multiple corporate sourcing categories

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Project and Visio

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport at all levels within the organization

  • Ability to interact with and defend position with senior management

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare services

  • Six Sigma Black Belt and Agile certification

  • Familiarity with industry standard metrics frameworks such as DORA
