Provide administrative support in managing daily scheduling of shipments and branch transfer finished goods receiving. Provide accurate and timely documentation as needed, related to shipments and receipts. Schedule all appointments for prepaid & customer loads, working with shipping carriers. Also schedules finished goods receiving appointments. Schedule incoming trucks in and out of the appropriate docks. Verify Chep pallet needs for each day's production, communicating with Team Leader regarding staging area needs. Set up pallet exchanges, as needed, as well as com checks. Responsible for all documents & administrative duties related to shipments & receipts, ensure all are complete and accurate. UPS Freight - (Responsible for assigning m/b, figuring freight cost, printing bill of lading, invoice prep & filing of documentation.) Print and confirm daily pick tickets; print bill of ladings for orders, and prep orders. Assist loaders with allocations - through use of Locator System on AS400. Maintain trailer inventory maintenance, RPA files, & carrier performance tracking information. Input of daily S.I.S. report sheets. Follow all GMP, Safety, Sanitation, & Security policies & procedures, as required.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience. Experience in a shipping/receiving traffic environment preferred. Computer literate, with experience with office software programs, such as Microsoft Office and AS400 computer system. Proficient in 10-key operation, with excellent math skills. Possess good communication skills, both written & verbal. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced office environment. Should have good inter-personal skills and able to work with minimal supervision.
