1st Choice Courier Package Sorter in St. Louis, Missouri
SUMMARY: 1st Choice Delivery is looking for multiple package sorters to work in our warehouse. These individuals will work day shift and primarily be responsible for ensuring client supplied totes are ready to return to client by stacking, wrapping and potentially cleaning said totes. The individual in question would receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within established guidelines with responsibility for the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Receives and distributes inventory in a timely and efficient manner. Provides efficient, friendly customer service to warehouse customers, including drivers, clients and customers of clients and coworkers. Inputs orders for specific accounts. Maintains storage units and shelving units in a clean and organized manner to enable customers and Distribution Manager easy access to critical inventory. Assists with various building maintenance issues. Assists drivers with loading and unloading. Must obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers, and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must posses some knowledge of keyboarding, and the ability to learn navigating through a variety of software programs.
Requires daily project supervision.
