How will you make an impact?

You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support a fully functioning Quality Control Lab including sample management, and ordering of lab supplies. Other responsibilities include washing glassware and preventative maintenance activities. This person is responsible for drafting procedures, participating in special projects, and performing more elaborate functions such as full raw material sampling and the evaluation of data.

What will you do?

  • Perform Raw Material sampling and inspection of components and chemicals including gases.

  • Drafting/revising specifications, SOPs, training documents, providing support for investigations, etc.

  • Perform Raw Material sampling and inspection

  • General lab support functions such as ordering of lab supplies, managing biohazard/chemical waste, operating glassware, and attending meetings.

  • Perform inventory management.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Associates Degree in a science related field minimally required; bachelor degree preferred.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment

  • Raw materials sampling experience preferred.

  • Basic technical writing skills (e.g SOPs, training documents, etc).

  • Able to aseptically gown and/or sterile gown as needed and work within environmental clean rooms

  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks, needing supervision or support to resolve complex issues

  • Ability to use standard computer programs such a MS Excel, Word, and Access
