HNTB Roadway Engineer II in St. Louis, Missouri

What We're Looking For

HNTB is seeking a Roadway Engineer II in our St. Louis, MO office. This position will assist the Roadway Design Group in performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, calculations, design and delivery on assigned projects.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Use Microstation, GeoPAK, and InRoads to deliver roadway design projects.

  • Utilize corridor modeling software to create 3D models and designs.

  • Geometric design of rural and urban roadways, including interchanges, roundabouts, and complex intersection design.

  • Perform design calculations to support safe, efficient project designs.

  • Collaborate within a team environment to successfully produce high quality plans, specifications and estimates.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 years relevant experience.

  • EIT

  • MicroStation and Geopak or Inroads experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects.

  • Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

  • 2 years relevant experience
