They include: custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors, skylights and architectural glass.Job SummaryWe are seeking a full-time Glass Processing Associate forour Warrenton, MOlocation.Dutiesinclude moving glass and metalfrom one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the product throughout the plant.STARTING WAGE $13.50/HOURAdditional $1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shiftsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHandling of fragile and potentially sharp glass and metal product(s) from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for ten or more hours dailyTransporting of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production processQuality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipmentReading labels to expedite product flow into other departmentsAttaching appropriate labels and tags to products and packagesUnderstanding layout of the facility to ensure proper product flowLoading and unloading a furnace or production lineInspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issuesUtilizing a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specificationsMaintain a safe and clean work areaPerform work assigned bya supervisorRegular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functionsof your jobRequirementsMust speak, read, andunderstand English to understand and communicate paperwork and labelsAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tapemeasureMust be able to work overtime as neededAll production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of productionFlexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends if needed)High School Diploma or GED, preferredPrevious glass experience highly desirablePhysical RequirementsAbility to bend/twist frequently andcarry, reach, use hands and arms, stand, and walk constantlyMust have the ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs. regularly by carrying, pushing, and pullingAbility to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
